I decided to go ahead and pay for one more year of web hosting for DMS since I didn’t want to wipe out 17 years of work and (mostly) good memories while feeling so conflicted on the matter and simultaneously trying to get through the holidays and all of the family birthdays for the first time since my father died. I decided it would be better and easier to make any decision in my own time, so to speak, rather than feeling the emotional pressure of the hosting plan expiring and feeling I had to make a decision with the clock ticking.

So that pressure is off and this past week I’ve been feeling the urge to work on the site in some way but when I log on to WordPress I just sit there staring at the computer screen. I don’t have a clue how to go forward.

  1. Hi there
Worst dilemma ever… I am a huge fan of Kevin Spacey, and like you I had an ‘oh my God he’s amazing’ moment – K-Pax that did it for me and I still love that movie.
I feel a mixture of sadness and disappointment, but it would be unforgiveable to disregard the talent and brilliance of Mr Spacey’s incredible back catalogue. Like you I don’t know where we go from here, but so glad you are keeping this amazing page going after all these years.

  2. A lot of people do not read and think carefully and just allow themselves to be guided by the sensational news.
I feel very sad that Spacey is now called all sorts of names, far more worse than even the accusations.
Today, racism accusations came out of nowhere. With no PR representatives, he has no protection.
Very few of his peers speak out for him. Let’s hope there are silent supporters who can help him when the hysteria calms down.
We fans can’t really do much as we will just get muffled.
Hope you can at least archive all your hard work.
    Thank you.

  3. Hi Liss, I was curious how you would decide. And now I am curious how you will proceed.
When you don’t know how to go forward, go back – maybe all the way back to your first post? “Kevin and me”. Maybe it helps to read why you started your website in the first place.
